Mal de Mer is an experimental cyanotype-based animation that reflects on the ecological crisis, touching on marine pollution, global warming, and the afterlife of consumer waste.Developed during an artist residency on the Greek island of Symi, the film draws on the island’s history of sponge diving, its distinctive marine environment, and its complex contemporary realities.
