'Lifeline' is one of my contributions to SPUD, a collaborative project led by Deirdre O'Mahony about the politics of food and 'tacit knowledge of farming'. It was made with a drain inspection camera and a few ideas in mind: the rhizomatic and secretive nature of the potato, its subterranean networks and its apparent likeness to human reproductive organs.
